A strong
filly, born at 1.30 am on Sunday May 2 - she might be black! (But then,
of course, she could just as easily end up grey!

This foal was right on
time. Rosie was officially due on Monday. At late night
check, she seemed a little grumpier than normal. At 1.15 am her
foaling alarm detonated. She was sweating profusely, while
emptying her hay rack! Five minutes late, her waters broke and
this pic was taken less than 15 minutes later!

| The filly was very quickly on her feet
and started trundling around exploring her new world.
If she stays black, she will be very showy indeed
with her broad white blaze and partial stockings.
But the little grey 'spectacles' indicate she will
be grey - like Mum and Dad. |
