Another Nancy was a successful point-to-point mare
who first came to Raj in 1993. She produced an impressive colt
(right) who has been retained by her then owner. She returned to
Raj in 1994 and produced another fine colt in 1995 - unfortunately he
died at 6 weeks. Nancy came back to us and as
her owner felt he didn't have time for a brood mare, she joined our
herd.

Nancy likes to do things
her way and managed to foal without setting off the foaling
alarm!! We found her tending her new-born filly at late night
check.

She looked like she'd be grey but as time passed, the
signs of greying haven't appeared and she MIGHT be bay! Whatever
colour she ends up, she looks like she'll be very nice indeed and has a
fair turn of her mother's speed!
