Olivier Gilot - a talented young French rider who has competed to 2*
level and has an exceptional talent for backing and schooling young
horses. Olivier has been with us for 4 years.

Healthy mums - and healthy live foals - don't just happen! If anything goes wrong, it can quickly become a disaster!! This little chap, enjoying his first day out, is lucky to be alive. He was born in an 'anterior dog-sitter' presentation, meaning one of his hind legs was forward along his back - and we were presented with 3 feet and a nose! Without expert assistance, the foal would have died - and possibly the mare also.
The use of modern foaling alarms and constant checking means mares are always supervised at foaling.
