Katie was originally purchased as a
hunt horse, but with a future career as a broodmare in mind. She is
a quality sport horse type by the Irish TB Carmel Head out of an
unregistered Irish mare.

A rather wobbly new-born, Katie and
Charlie enjoy their first day outing in the safety of one of the
all-weather yards. |

| And then moved out to the field. |

Katie and Brook are the best of
friends and share a field with their two foals. While Katie is
definitely the 'boss', she's happy to share food (and foal sitting) with
Brook. They are almost inseparable
